Mail art letter "Ukraine" (mail art, Ukraine)

Hello) Recently I became a post crosser) First I just use a cite http://www.postcrossing.com/. But a few days later I find amazing photos with real exciting letters. They were so colorful and original. I was shocked how amazing it looks and decide to do something like that i saw. For the first I try to understand what is mail art definition. In the google i found very interesting blog http://www.fishmailart.com/, it helped me to learn about kinds of mail art. My first craft was a mail art letter. I sent it to my pen pal in Malaysia. It was about Ukraine and Ukrainian traditions. First i made an envelope. I painted on it map of Ukraine with Ukrainian flag on it. I also painted an ornament.  Take a look of envelope:)

It's without right stamp now, that stamp is a decor.
Than I think about surprises inside. I just don't now what to put as a symbol of Ukraine and our traditions. So look what i put

It's a postcard with Ukrainian ornaments, Ukrainian coins and one Ukrainian  hryvna, piece of chocolate with Ukrainian girl on the pack, stamp with Ukrainian bird and of course a letter:)

It's very interesting to have a pen pal from another country. I'm waiting forward for an answer and hope that Malaysian girl like it. Love my craft. Want to make something like this? Have a better idea? Or just want to praise me?^^ Write a massage on my email. Angelina_Shevchuk@ukr.net. Don't be shy to add a comment or share it.
